Aptly named after the attire for Queen Anne of Britain, these delicate white flowers have a red speck in the center, and as the story goes, this represents the bit of blood drawn after the Queen pricked herself with a needle when making her lace. "Queen Anne's Lace" represents the idea that what you see on the surface isn't always what you will get. I used the delicate white flowers as a motif for her costume. At first glance she may seem dainty, but judging by the smirk of her face in the mirror as she reaches for the Champagne bottle, she is much more than just dainty. It serves as a reminder that people are not one-dimensional and to never judge a book by its cover. This is a part of the Painted Ladies Series.
