Outdoor mural in French Quarter courtyard. Modeled after the French term "tromp l'oeil," meaning, to trick the eye, this work tempts the viewer to imagine a secret garden through the arched doorway. A notable design aspect of this project was to make this "hurricane-proof." The materials used to produce this project were light, impermeable, easily transported, and weather-resistant to winds of up to 140mph. A fun project where art, science, and engineering collided!
