I'm a huge fan of zombies. The concept of them, the type of fear they instill, and even the tragic kind of hope they bring out in their movies. None of that's on display here. I wanted to paint a zombie with as much humor as I could, and mix it with the grotesqueness.

Follow this artistOriginally from Chicago, I've been painting, drawing and sculpting for as long as I can remember. Comic books and cartoons were my gateway into different forms of art, as I eventually (and begrudgingly) accepted that even exaggerated characters and heroes are made better when one has a solid handle on anatomy, perspective and the like. Practicing these points helped me grow an appreciation for fine art and a desire to make my own. Most of what I've learned has been self taught, with the aid of online tutorials from artists and painters I admire. I'm continually adding the aspects and methods that I enjoy to my Frankenstein skill-set. My imagery and subjects vary, often jumping from portraits and figure painting to surrealism; sometimes I'm inspired by a mood I'm in, other times, a fleeting image that popped in my head.
