My favorite time in the Quarter is in the mornings.

Follow this artistI’m a photographic artist from Louisiana. I grew up in the rich delta of Concordia Parish near Black River.
I received my first camera when I was 7 years old, and I fell in love with photography when I had that first roll developed.
My favorite subjects are the bayous, rivers, and people of Louisiana that make up our distinctive culture. Many of my photographs are taken while wearing hip boots and hoping I don't interrupt an alligator’s day. My photographs are printed on canvas and the frames are designed by me and made by a very talented inmate in a local Parish prison. The wood is upcycled cypress from old houses and buildings in Louisiana. I use gold, silver leaf, or nichos for the frames that frame my photography.
My art hangs in several galleries and restaurants in New Orleans. Six of my photographs were chosen and shown in Moscow, Russia in a Louisiana Cultural exhibit at the Multimedia Art Museum curated by Frank Relle. My work has been featured in New Orleans Living and New Orleans Magazine.
